Hiya everyone, again! ♡
A mentioned in my "Orange is the new Red Carpet" earlier, here are my picks for best dressed.
Again, no spoilers on winners of awards or plot-line spoilers.
Enjoy the read ♡
Sarah Hyland in Zac Posen - love this girl! The back of the dress is equally as gorge
Allison Janney in La Bourjoisie - this silvery creation fits beautifully and is still sparkly whilst being age appropriate
Amanda Peet
Amy Poehler in Micheal Kors - simple and chic, I love the cut-outs that create the illusion of a smaller waist
Ariel Winter in Romona Keveza
Emma Roberts in custom Jenny Packham - this girl is flawless. I don't even mind that the colour of the dress is so close to her skin colour
Julie Bowen in Georges Chakra couture - a bit of a strange strap-line but the mermaid shape is too stunning
Kiernan Shipka in Dior Couture - I love the care-free, fun style of this 15 year-old actress. I love, too, the way she matched the bubble dress/top with the form-fitting cigarette trousers and the pointy pumps.
Regina King - this dress is gorgeous, I just wish it didn't blend in with the wall behind her. Regina looks wider than she is since we can't see her cinched in waist properly.
Sarah Paulson in Prabal Gurung - there weren't too many sparkly dresses on the carpet (which always disappoints a Magpie like me) so this one was a sight for sore eyes. I love the colour, cut and the way Sarah matched the toned-down makeup and slick hairstyle.
Felicity Huffman - loving the dark hair, seemed to be a theme on the carpet last night!
Ellie Kemper in Naeem Khan - this dress is so unusual. The colours remind me of seashells, there is a pinch of sparkle and the shape accentuates her waist (the part of the body that is usually the slimmest for a woman)
Julianne Hough in Marchesa - I am not usually a fan of barely-there dresses but I have no issue with this one. I wonder how it looks close up?
TREND ALERT! Women in suits
Jane Lynch
Lea DeLaria
Lisa Kudrow
Tatiana Maslany in Bouchra Jarrar
